We're off to America.
Searching for inspiration, we thought about John Steinbeck and his journey around America with his poodle, Charley.
Poodles may be fine narrative devices but daughters are even better.
We'll be on the road for the next month asking the same question Steinbeck asked 50 years ago.
So what is America like today?
